Village of Chatham – Zoning Board of Appeals Member Wanted
The Village of Chatham is seeking residents interested in serving on the Village Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA).
The Zoning Board of Appeals reviews applications for zoning variances and interprets Village zoning regulations when requested. ZBA members play an important role in helping ensure development within the Village is fair, consistent, and in accordance with the Village Code.
This is a volunteer appointed position. Members must be residents of the Village of Chatham and willing to attend meetings as needed. Meetings are typically held on the third Wednesday of each month, when there is an application before the board. Members are also required to complete four hours of training annually.
Residents interested in serving are encouraged to submit a letter of interest to the Village Clerk’s Office.
