Village of Chatham DPW Storm Brush Collection

Beginning Tuesday, July 7, 2026, the Village of Chatham Department of Public Works (DPW) will conduct a one-time, Village-wide collection of storm-related brush and tree limbs.

Residents are asked to place eligible brush at the curb as soon as possible, as crews will make one pass only through the Village during the week. Once DPW has collected materials from your street, they will not return for additional pickups.

Please note:

  • This collection is for storm-related brush and tree limbs only.

  • Tree limbs must be cut into lengths no greater than 8 feet.

  • Place brush neatly at the curb, away from fire hydrants, utility poles, and parked vehicles.

  • Do not block sidewalks or roadways.

  • Brush should be placed at the curb before crews reach your neighborhood.

Your cooperation will help DPW complete this special collection as efficiently as possible. Thank you for your patience as the Village continues its recovery efforts following last week's storm.
