Thank You, VOC DPW!

The Village of Chatham would like to extend its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Village Department of Public Works and Working Foreman, Phil Genovese, for their tireless efforts over the past several weeks in responding to the impacts of the recent storm.

Throughout this period, DPW staff worked many long hours in severe and often miserable conditions to ensure that Village roads were safely cleared and accessible for residents. These efforts were carried out while they continued to fulfill their regular daily duties, which notably included the repair of a broken service line during the most challenging portion of the storm.

The Village has received numerous messages from residents who have independently reached out to both the Village offices and the DPW to express their gratitude and appreciation for the professionalism, dedication, and hard work demonstrated under difficult circumstances. This outpouring of support speaks volumes about the value of the DPW’s work and their commitment to the community.

The Village of Chatham would also like to sincerely thank our residents for their patience and understanding throughout this time. Your cooperation and support are greatly appreciated.
