Annual Columbia County Firefighters Parade – Saturday, September 5, 2026

The Village of Chatham is honored to host the Annual Columbia County Firefighters Parade on Saturday, September 5, 2026.

From 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, multiple street closures will occur throughout the Village. Parking restrictions will be in place on Kinderhook Street and Woodbridge Avenue. Travel through and around Chatham will be heavily impacted.

The parade will step off at 11:00 a.m. from Kinderhook Street at the traffic circle and follow this route:

  • Down Main Street to Hudson Avenue

  • Right onto Hoffman Avenue

  • Left onto Woodbridge Avenue

  • Left onto Church Street

  • Entering the fairgrounds via Cottage Place

To ensure the safety of participants and spectators, parking will be prohibited on Kinderhook Street and Woodbridge Avenue on Saturday, September, 2026, from 6:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m and will be closed to all thru traffic, including local traffic, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
