PUBLIC NOTICE, VILLAGE OF CHATHAM, COLUMBIA COUNTY, NEW YORK.  NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR PROPOSED LOCAL LAW ENTITLED “A LOCAL LAW TO ESTABLISH A 5-MINUTE DROP-OFF ZONE ON PARK ROW”.  PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Chatham shall hold a public hearing on Monday, May 12, 2025 beginning at 6:45pm at Tracy Memorial Village Hall, 77 Main Street, Chatham, NY 12037 for the purpose of taking public comment on a proposed local law entitled “A Local Law to Establish a 5-minute Drop-off Zone on Park Row.”  This law would establish a 5-minute parking time limit on a section of Park Row in front of the Morris Memorial and will also eliminate an outdated time limit for part of the Main Street Parking Lot. At such public hearing, all interested persons shall have the opportunity to be heard.  Copies of the proposed “Local Law to Establish a 5-minute Drop-off Zone on Park Row” is available in the Village Clerk’s Office, 77 Main Street, Chatham, NY 12037, and on the Village of Chatham website at www. villageofchathamny.gov.
