Village of Chatham Board of Trustees Approves Water and Sewer Rate Reductions Effective June 1, 2025

At its meeting on April 14, 2025, the Village of Chatham Board of Trustees voted to lower water and sewer rates for residents and businesses. In-village and out-of-village water users will see a reduction of 12.3% to their water rate and in-village sewer users will see a 19.3% reduction to their sewer rate. The new rates take effect on June 1, 2025. This decision reflects the Board's commitment to fiscal responsibility and providing relief to the community.

New Water/Sewer Rates Effective 1, 2025:

Water Rate for Inside the Village of Chatham users: $0.064 per cubic foot

Water Rate for Outside the Village of Chatham users: $0.128 per cubic foot

Sewer Rate for Inside the Village of Chatham users: $0.088 per cubic foot
