Notice of Public Hearing regarding Proposed Revision of Sewer Rates: Monday, April 14, 2025 at 6:30pm

PUBLIC NOTICE, VILLAGE OF CHATHAM, COLUMBIA COUNTY, NEW YORK.  NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR PROPOSED RATE REVISION FOR SEWER SERVICE. Please take notice that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Chatham shall hold a public hearing on Monday, April 14, 2025 beginning at 6:30 pm at Tracy Memorial Village Hall, 77 Main Street, Chatham, NY 12037 for the purpose of taking public comment on a proposed revision of sewer rates for users of the Village of Chatham sewer system. The Village Board of Trustees tentatively proposes to reduce sewer rates by 19.3 percent, from a current rate of 10.9 cents per cubic foot to a new rate of 8.8 cents per cubic foot.
