NYSEG Announces Bill Assistance Programs for Veterans
NYSEG and RG&E are increasing awareness of utility bill assistance programs for veterans and their families.
Veterans receiving Veterans Disability or Survivors Pension benefits may qualify for monthly bill credits through the Energy Affordability Program (EAP).
Representatives will be available at two upcoming local events to answer questions, review eligibility, and provide information about financial assistance, budget billing, and payment plans.

HEAP enrollment opens November 2, 2026. Eligible households are encouraged to apply while funding is available.
