Harlem Valley Rail Trail Construction Begins Last Week of October, 2025

Harlem Valley Rail Trail Construction Project

Construction on the Harlem Valley Rail Trail along the west side of Hudson Avenue in the Village of Chatham, NY is scheduled to begin during the last week of October 2025. The project is anticipated to be completed before the Thanksgiving holiday.

During this time, the sidewalk on the west side of Hudson Avenue will be closed to pedestrian traffic. Residents and visitors are advised to use alternate routes and exercise caution when traveling in the area.

All project updates, including any schedule changes or additional notices, will be posted on the Village of Chatham website and the Village of Chatham Facebook page.
