Department of Public Works Update: January 12, 2026

The Village of Chatham DPW is currently assisting with traffic control on Hudson Ave. as a contractor, under contract with the Village, completes approximately 1,500 feet of sewer main relining.

The first step in this process is video inspection and mapping of the sewer line prior to lining. This project is designed to reduce water infiltration and extend the life of the existing infrastructure—resulting in significant cost savings compared to full replacement.
